Thank you for your interest in membership to Snipes Family of America, Inc. The Snipes Family of America (SFA) membership package contains:

• An SFA membership certificate and coat-of-arms.
• The name of the member who responds to queries and coordinates research for your branch.
• An SFA membership list, membership directory and computer tips.
• A recent edition of our quarterly newsletter, "The Snipes Hunter."
• The history of SFA and early Snipes generations, an outline showing connections among SFA members and a list of books for sale.

What you will receive on an ongoing basis

• Assistance in searching your roots.
• Access to SFA resources, including our database of over 60,000 Snipes-related individuals.
• Access to the members-only section of our official Web site.
• A subscription to "The Snipes Hunter."

How to join Snipes Family of America online

• Fill out the Membership Application Form
• Fill out the Family Information Form or e-mail a family information file attachment. (see below)
• Mail a check for $20.00 for dues to: (annual dues are $15.00 thereafter)

• Lifetime memberships are available for $375.00

You can also mail the required information:

• Go to, and print out the Membership Application Form
• Fill out the form with your family information.  Include this with your check for $20 (for the year of application — $15 renewals thereafter) and mail to:

  Any additional amount you can include to help defray expenses is appreciated.
  

Lifetime memberships are now available.  By paying $375.00, you will be considered a member in good standing and will not pay renewal fees each year.

You membership package will be mailed to you once we receive:

1. your application form
2. your family information
3. your check

Additional family information if available

Please also complete the "Family group" sheet with the following, if available:

1. Typical "family group sheet" information (birth, death, burial, marriage dates and locations for all husbands, wives and children associated with a family) for:
• Your immediate family: children, grandchildren, parents, siblings.
• Two generations back on the direct line of your non Snipes parent.
• As many generations as you have back and forward from your Snipes parent.
2. If you have limited information, we'll take whatever you have. If you need help putting it together, let us know.
3. If you e-mail a file attachment, please indicate the format you are using, i.e., Family Tree Maker .FBC / .FBK file, or a GEDCOM file from other software.
